Yoplait Liberté Canada continues to build momentum when it comes to employer recognition. The company received two awards at the 2026 Canadian HR Awards, held on October 1 in Toronto:
- Excellence in HR Communication & Change Strategy
- Excellence in HR Team Performance (Fewer Than 500 Employees)
Human Resources Director highlighted that Yoplait Liberté Canada was the only organization to win two awards at this year’s event, which brought together HR professionals, teams and organizations from across the country.

These two distinctions are especially meaningful for the organization. Since joining the Sodiaal cooperative in January 2025, Yoplait Liberté Canada has undergone one of the most significant transformations in its history: becoming a standalone company, implementing new ways of working and new systems, defining a shared culture, and pursuing an ambitious growth plan.
Throughout this transformation, the Human Resources and Communications teams have worked closely together to keep employees informed, engaged and supported, while building the foundations of a truly people-first organization. This approach included involving all employees in defining the culture and values of the new organization.
“These two awards are a tremendous recognition of the work accomplished by our team, but also of the way our entire organization has navigated this transformation. From the very beginning, we made the choice to put our people at the heart of our decisions, to listen to them and to actively involve them in building our new company. To see our team and our approach recognized across Canada today is an incredible source of pride.”
This double recognition adds to several distinctions received by Yoplait Liberté Canada in 2026, including a Canadian Grocer Impact Award in the Supporting Employees category, which also recognized the people-first approach the company adopted throughout its transformation.

The Canadian HR Awards celebrate excellence in human resources across Canada each year. The 2026 winners were selected through an evaluation process by an independent panel of industry leaders.
